Day One
Touch down Nadi!
The name Fiji is synonymous with paradise. This beautiful South Pacific group consists of some 300 islands and atolls dotted across 200,000 square miles of sea. The main island is Viti Levu, with the international airport in the township of Nadi.
Fiji is a postcard dream of picturesque coasts, tall coconut palms nodding over brilliant turquoise lagoons fringed by coral reefs and sandy beaches. Fiji is the ‘hub’ of the South Pacific, a melting pot of both Polynesian and Melanesian races. The Fijians are regarded as “one of the friendliest people on earth” and throughout the program guests will be continually greeted with “Bula”, meaning “Hello” in Fijian.
After clearing customs at Nadi International Airport, Guests will be met in the arrival hall by Tour Hosts Destination Management staff and porters. Cool minted refresher towels and Fijian bottled water will be made available for guests, who will also receive a glazed or flower lei, marking their welcome to Fiji.
Enroute to the hotel, some wild antics take place to ensure the group know they are in for a fun program! As the coach leaves the airport, local men hitch a ride on the coach. With no money to pay their fare, they offer to sing and entertain in return for the journey to the hotel.
Alternatively, a Fijian warrior on horseback stages a mock attack on the coach as it enters the hotel precinct. The warrior boards the coach, taking over control and driving the coach into the hotel.

The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax, take a stroll along the beach, a swim in the hotel pool or take part in one of the many half-day optional tours available from the hospitality desk.

This evening, the Welcome Dinner of “Kana Vakaturaga” (The Chiefly Feast) offers a traditional Fijian feast set up in a private location within the hotel grounds. The venue is reminiscent of the Fijian Village ceremonial arena. The “Kana Vakaturaga (A Chiefly Meal)” is beautifully set at this venue and begins with formal ceremonies of welcome involving the preparation, presentation and sharing of the Fijian national drink, Yaqona, which is derived from the Kava root.
A Fijian meal is served amidst masi-patterned overlays and sashes. A Fijian Meke group performs songs and dances as an encore to this evening of authentic culture
Day Two
Today guests will experience pure Fiji culture and tradition on a day full of surprises and culture. Visit and meet locals at schools and villages. While visiting these memorable places the group will have to answer clues and obtain items which will help with their lunch and afternoon experiences.
Lunch will be provided on a beautiful beach setting where just when the guests think their day is ending, a few more surprises are in store!
After today’s adventures, guests can enjoy an evening of leisure, or a coordinated dine around.
Day Three
Following breakfast at the hotel, the group will set sail by tall ship to pristine Tivua Island, surrounded by 500 acres of spectacular coral reef.
A private chartered vessel will take the group on a 90-minute cruise to Tivua Island, which will be booked for the exclusive use for our group
Surrounded by coral, the main activities for the group are snorkelling, glass bottom boat tours and swimming, or lazing in a hammock. There are also some canoes and a beach volleyball court and these activities will be built into a mini beach Olympics, also including tug-o-war and coconut shot put. A sumptuous BBQ buffet lunch will be served on the island.
Live Fijian music, a Kava or Yaqona Ceremony and Fijian Dancing will take place on the forward and return cruise.

Tonight, the group will enjoy a more casual dinner held under the stars with a “Stompin’ on the Beach” dinner. A colourful Fijian sulu (sarong) is delivered to each guestroom along with a dinner invitation in the shape of a footprint. This fun event takes place on beach at the hotel.
