Ms Roslyn McLeod OAM
Managing Director, arinex pty limited

Roslyn McLeod is the Managing Director and founder of arinex pty limited, which opened its first office in Sydney in 1973. With over 30 years of experience Roslyn’s significant contribution to the tourism industry has been recognised via multiple awards including the Federal Tourism Minister’s Special Award for outstanding contribution by an individual. In 1999 Roslyn received the highest form of appreciation when on Australia Day she was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia by the Queen’s representative for contribution to inbound tourism.

Sonja Söderbom
Manager, Destination Management

Sonja has been working in the tourism and event industry for over 10 years with her industry experience starting at Tourism Australia in 1986 in London where she worked for 3 years co-ordinating Australia’s participation at European Trade Shows as well as training UK Travel Agents on Australia. Sonja joined arinex in 1999 in the conference division and now manages the Destination Management business unit. During her time with arinex, Sonja has managed high profile programs in conjunction with major international events taking place in Australia such as the BHP Billiton Hospitality Program for the 2006 Commonwealth Games, the 2000 Olympics, and managing the Djuice syndicate for the World Volvo Ocean Race in Australia and New Zealand for the sailing crew, clients and staff for a duration of two months. She has extensive product knowledge and knows the processes and requirements involved to ensure a successful program for all clients ranging from one day to several months.

Florencia Jacovella
Operations Manager

Florencia joined arinex in 2007 after moving to Australia from her home town of Buenos Aires. Her industry experience started in 1994 where she began her career with the Foreign Office organizing official events before working for a Luxury Medical Spa in Brazil. With a BA Honours degree in International Affairs, a post-graduate diploma in Marketing & Economy from UNICATT, Italy and a Master of Marketing from UNSW, Australia, Florencia brings to arinex a strong marketing background and expertise on tailoring programs to strategic corporate objectives. She is fluent in Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. To date, Florencia has managed a number of scientific programs, sporting events and high end incentives taking place in Australia and New Zealand. Clients to date include CEPSA, Speedway, Schwarzkopf and Leading Global Pharmaceutical and Insurance Companies.

Rebecca Quilty
Senior Account Manager

Rebecca's experience in the tourism industry started with 3 years spent working at Murrays Coaches, handling group touring and transport logistics. This was followed by three years working in Seattle, USA for a Tour Wholesaler where Rebecca gained invaluable experience of the international tourism market. Rebecca’s experience with groups at arinex is extensive, with her most notable account being the Transport Manager of some 2600 guests over a 19 day period during the 2000 Olympic Games.

Lilian Iskander
Account Coordinator

Lilian started her career with arinex in 2007 after completing a Bachelor of Arts and Tourism Management (majoring in event management) from the University of Western Sydney.  Initially joining the Registration and Delegate Services team, Lilian has strong customer service skills and experience dealing with international clients attending events in Australia, and Conference Organising Committees.  During her time at arinex Lilian has worked on a number of high profile meetings, including the XXII International Congress of The Transplantation Society held In Sydney, with over 4300 attendees, and The Parliament of the World's Religions meeting held in Melbourne, with over 5000 attendees.  Lilian is fluent in Arabic.

Paul Boustani
Manager, Corporate & Special Events

With a comprehensive background in both conference and corporate special events, Paul's focus is on meeting his client's event objectives using creativity, strong budget management and his in-depth knowledge of suppliers. Paul and his team continually produce a fantastic range of creative and special events ensuring the end result is a spectacular success. Paul has a true dedication and passion for the industry and delights in ensuring each and every client receives that all important "wow" factor.
